Premtape™ Tropical
Premtape Tropical is a multi-purpose, surface tolerant, corrosion protective petrolatum tape (also known as wax tape) that provides long-term corrosion protection of steel pipes, flanges, valves, fittings, and other related surfaces ranging from the arctic to tropical temperatures.
Premtape Tropical is a petrolatum based wax tape that has been specially modified to perform in tropical climates. It is used to protect pipelines and fittings that are subject to a higher temperature range than those protected by Premier Coating™ Tape.
The Petrolatum Tape System comprising; Prempaste; Premtape Tropical, and Premcote Outerwrap Tape meets the NACE RP0375-2006 and AWWA C217 Standard.
A Fire Retardant grade – Premtape FR is also available.
